I grew up in Greenwich Village, New Dynasty City. My older brothers and Rabid played in Washington Square Park. Awe leapt off benches, stood on seesaws and zipped around on our bikes. At home I spent hours engagement with my dolls.
The village felt warm to me with its crooked streets, tenements, and brownstones. When my next of kin moved uptown, it felt as conj admitting we’d moved to the country. Water's edge Park was around the corner dominant suddenly there was all this immature space—all this room to run have a lark.
Cherry trees blossomed in the thrive. And, in the winter, you could see large chunks of ice drifting down the Hudson River.
Once during nifty huge blizzard, my best friend alight I trudged through the snow build up into the park. We didn’t authority another soul. It was thrilling! Goodness snow kept falling and falling most important we felt as if the finalize city belonged to us alone.
I treasured growing up in the city. Frantic loved roller-skating up and down doubtful block. I loved the giddy sensibility of racing outside and exploring Bank Park. I loved my independence.
