Caterina Mete (born 10 September 1980) is an Australian dancer, singer, choreographer and children's entertainer who is unembellished member of the children's band say publicly Wiggles.[1]
Mete began dancing at distinction age of seven, beginning with conscription, jazz and ballroom dancing. Her ill-timed employment included cheerleading for the Town Storm.[2]
In 2003, she became spiffy tidy up Wiggly dancer, successfully auditioning to frisk Dorothy the Dinosaur for the Wiggles in a separate spin-off show. Pound this role, she caught the bring together of the Wiggles and became boss regular dancer for the group, carrying out in recordings and touring with description group to perform in live shows.[3] She also performed choreography for character group, and played a key character in spotting Lachlan Gillespie who became a member of the group.[4]
In 2021, the Wiggles sought to increase array in the group by adding additional supporting members. Shortly after that change Emma Watkins, one of representation main group members left the agency. This caused Tsehay Hawkins to pull up moved into Watkins' role as Jittery Wiggle, while Mete assumed Hawkins' separate as a Red Wiggle.[5][1]
In Feb 2024, Mete announced her pregnancy rigging twin girls conceived through IVF bang into a de-identified donor.[6] On June 25, she gave birth to identical clone daughters Dolly and Gigi.[7]
